Udyog Aadhaar Number is a 12-digit identification number that is issued once you get your small/medium industry registered as a part of MSME. In other words, it is also known as Aadhaar for Business. The registration process is free of charge and is entirely online.

How to Receive UAN

To receive a UAN number you need to fill up a Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) form. To fill in the form, you will need to log on to the site udyamregisteration.org/ and perform the following steps:

1. Enter your personal information
2. PAN Verification
3. Filing postal address
4. Bank Details
5. Enterprise/Industry Details
6. Select Industry center
7. Upload the aadhaar card, accept the declaration, and submit.
8. Once the form is submitted you will receive an acknowledgment sent to you via email, which will also contain your Udyog Aadhaar Number(UAN).

In case UAN is Lost

There is no need to panic if you have lost your Udyog Aadhaar Number. Simply log onto the official website and apply for the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum. Once you are on the page, you need to choose the (One Time Password) OTP option as filled in your application. After clicking the ‘Validate and Generate OTP’ button, you will receive the OTP. Once the OTP is entered and successfully matched you will receive all your registered numbers.
